Very heavy, functional and kind of big specially in rear face. Hope it fits in my Tacoma, I haven’t installed it yet.

I did a lot of research into the safest built car seats, but I did NOT take into consideration the comfort…. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when my 8 month old fussy car traveller passed out on our maiden voyage in his new “big boy” seat. I wish I’d just started with this one–since he woke up when the car stopped 90% of the the time anyway!!! I can’t rave about this car seat enough… I’m not in the least bit technically inclined, and it was easy as pie (ie: a frozen one you shove in the oven and say “look, MIL, I made this…I swear…”.) to set up. Looking forward to the next 10 years with this tank in my back seat.

The seat seems very comfortable for my babe, was pretty easy to assemble and install. Instructions are ok. I Like that I don’t need the entire infant insert and can I snap the top from the bottom to use the bottom only for extra cushion. I don’t like however that it only reclines to one position. This makes it difficult to get the right rear facing incline with bucket seats (which I feel every vehicle has). It also takes up quite a bit of room when reclined so be sure to have loads of room between your babies seat and the seat in front as we had to move our front seat almost all the way forward which leaves the passenger with little to no leg room.
